Does anyone have a remedy for eczema other than corticosteroids???

My doc said to remove wheat and dairy from diet...done.

Told me to take evening primrose oil...done.

Lavendar oil topically...done.

What else can I do??

Look for another food that might cause the eczema--soy, eggs, nuts, peanuts, corn--some ingredient that you eat frequently.

If that does not work, find a homeopath.

I know this seems rather simplistic but" Jergin's Natural Healing lotion" keeps it gone for me. Makes it disapear to.

My son had really bad eczema when he was born. His skin would crack and bleed it was awful. I had to keep his skin very clean, use moisture creams, and special soap etc.

He could not go into a chlorinated pool as a toddler or baby, or go into the sun or heat without getting wet. He could only wear 100% cotton cloths.

Later when he was diagnosed with lyme, treatment did help a whole lot.

We did fine out he was allergic to peanuts when he was little but when we took that out of his diet he still had eczema.

Good luck to you, I hope taking things out of your diet helps, eczema is miserable.

Thanks for your replies everyone.

Kissis I am off to buy the Jergen's today.

I can't believe I need to remove more from my diet! There is going to be nothing left to eat!

I sure hope it helps you lymephobic as it has for me, I'm not sure what ingredent in it works but I cant do without it. I use it once or twice a week and it keeps the ezema away. A few times I have gotten lazy and forgot to use it and it returns . So I give the Jergin's all the credit.

P.S. I used to use triple antibiotic gell before I found jergins to help. The gell helped but not as well.
