I'm new to this forum, but have been involved for 2 years with another, related forum and have done extensive research regarding Lyme and Morgellons diseases, which are possibly related.
I purchased a microscope last year to try to determine the cause of my lesions and relative disease. It proved valuable to me and the others on the forum. Those of us who have them have contributed many pieces of the mystery puzzle.
I have also examined the stool of someone in my family whom I suspected had worms as they have dogs which rule the roost , so to speak. I saw what I thought was a white worm in the stool and upon examination found much more. In fact, I had isolated borrellia burgdorferi and other common co-pathogens which are easily recognizable and matched them with my samples.
My question is why the stool samples are not considered for identification of Lyme. There is absolutely no reason why these organisms would not be in the intestinal tract and in fact I know they are.
This website has exact pictures of what is in my samples. The one gelatinous blob containing fibers (worms) and looks like a jellyfish is exactly like one which I isolated from the stool. The others are more of the fibers. Ehrlichia is one other pronounced and unmistakable organism which I have then found in my own stool.
