If you could give me one piece of advise, a question or questions to ask or info to give etc. what would it be?
What do you wish you would have learned on your first visit?
I am so nervous that I will get there and blow an opportunity. Any advise is appreciated.

I always try to identify the three worst symptoms I deal with. If there is something that other than antibiotics that I can take for them, I would like the doc to discuss it.
There used to be a post about this. How to have a good appointment, but I can't find it. I thought it was in the newbies post up on top. But I quickly scanned it and did not see it. Perhaps some one can find it better than I did?
Go early so you can fill in the paperwork. Especially if it takes you a while to do it.
Make a list of what meds and supplements you are presently taking. And anything in the past that made you worse and made you better.
Is some one going with you? I always like to take an advocate with me. I am either tired or nervous so I don't remember everything. Have them take notes for you.
What is the best way to contact them? Some do email. Some only take phone calls.

I found it very helpful to have my husband with me. He could fill in the blanks when I would forget things.
Also, I needed the support of a strong person by my side. I was a wreck when I finally got to the LLMD's for the first time.

Bring a notebook to take lots of notes.
