I switched pharmacies and my husband just went to pick up my Mepron at Walmart.

He is still out running errands, but he sent me a picture of it from his cell phone.

There are 60 of these little individual servings in these packets. It is still the same liquid, but it's almost as if you could just tear open the packet and squeeze it into your mouth!

Weird, huh? It looks "legit" in the picture, it has Mepron printed on it in such a way that it looks just like the label on the bottles. And it's not a sticker, it is a part of the packaging, so I don't see how someone could have messed with it.

I just think this is so bizarre!

Anyone else gotten this?

Does anyone else get their Mepron from Walmart?

I haven't had that myself, but I have heard of others who have. I think that's really awesome and would actually like that so much better than having to measure it all out myself. I need to ask my pharmacy if they have that available instead of the bottles.

It's good to know that at least it does come that way though, so I know I'm not just taking something fake. (weird as that sounds, I am paranoid I know)

We'll see how it goes! I will let you know if it is as convienent as it seems. Haven't seen them in person yet b/c hubby still out and about...

Well that sure would be nice Hoosiers! I posted last night because I could not figure out that 5ML meant one teaspoon!

People like me who are mathmatically challenged would surely benefit.

I would have liked to have gotten it in that form. It was always interesting to carry the bottle into a restaurant and take it. I've heard of the packets.

Hubby got the packets like you describe when he took Mepron for 10 days back in 2003.

Wild Condor mentioned that hers came that way once, and that it was more convenient when eating out, etc.

Also, it would help with any issues of dilution (I had that problem several times when the pharmacist didn't shake it well enough before dispensing).

My ins wouldn't cover the packets when I checked.

I think you're lucky! Nice move switching pharmacies!

We got those, too, but I declined them because it gave us fewer doses. Told them to get a bottle.

Six months later, they still had them on the shelf, so they sold them to me for half the cost.

Mine came that way at first. It's a little tricky because the packets are kind of like foil, so it scratches your tongue and the roof of your mouth, and it's really hard to get it all squeezed out.

It is usually more expensive that way.

And Hoos... did you check the added ingredient?

Tell hubby you just found out it is packaged that way because the foil protects the special "love potion" they put in it.

Then go have some fun!

[lol]
