Does anyone else get this? My lymph nodes in my my arm pits (and sometimes my neck and breasts) hurt so bad. Urgh. This is a newer symptom that has been constant for the last 4 or 5 months. My lymph nodes are not swollen, though.
Has anything helped?
Is this maybe Epstein-Barr more than Lyme and Co?

I think it may be a symptom of bart... Many things can do it, though.
Many years ago, I used to do warm compresses with a little oil of Bay leaves.
Lymphatic drainage is good but it;s kind of expensive. You have to find someone who knows the Vodder technique (I think that's the name of it).

Yes, it was one of my first symptoms before I knew I had lyme.
It stayed around until a month or two before I ended treatment.
According to my regular MD and LLMD, lyme can and does affect lymph nodes. With treatment, it should subside.
Have you discussed with your doc?

Yes, I had experienced the same thing just this week when I started Doxy. I dont know if it was due to bacteria die-off, but drinking a lot of water helped.

I am 20 months into treatment. I'm currently on ceftin, mycobutin, and levaquin pulse with a flagyl pulse the last two days of the cycles.
I do lymph detox by bouncing on a mini-trampoline when my head isn't killing me. It's just so strange that this would start now.

Yes, this is a major symptom of mine. In fact today, I hurt so badly, especially on the left side that I can barely raise my arm.
Years ago before I even knew what Lyme was I started experiencing inexplicable breast pain that felt just like swollen lymph nodes, yet doctors could find nothing. Sometimes I felt a different pain that was more stabbing.
In the end they all decided (and I guess I did,too) that I had a mental illness.
When I went to my first LLMD appointment in March, 2009 I mentioned these symptoms to my doctor. He said they can be indicative of Lyme.

That is puzzling at this point in your treatment.
Maybe it is more toxins and not specifically lyme and co's???
Can you give your doctor a call and ask for some feedback/advice?
Or consider changing/adding your type of detox. Lots of folks discuss alternatives here. You can do a search at the top by plugging in the key word "detox".

MTGirl, yes I have suffered lymph soleness/pain for at least 10 years.. its mostly groin and armpit areas. has eased off quite a lot the past few years. typical Lymes, symptoms stay in one area for days, weeks, months and then move to another area. its fair to say that essentially every square inch of your body is going to feel some distress/discomfort/pain at some stage or other..totally crazy disease this...

I've had the lymph pain as well. Mostly armpits and groin. It comes and goes. Mine aren't swollen just painful. This signifies an infection such as lyme.

Has anyone used a trampoline for lymph detox?
I've used chlorella, milk thistle (general detox), and naturopathic drops to help my lymph system, but nothing seems to do the trick.
