I'm posting these IGeneX results of a very special person whom is a caregiver to a family of lymeies.
This person posts here regarding her family, but can't find the "will" to consider her state of health.
She, imo has the classic ebb and flows of lyme symptoms but fully functions.....whatever that means....
here are only a few of the recurring symptoms I can remember:
-swollen lymph nodes (this one worries me) -back pain -got a rash while on some abx for strep throat that the entire family got.
with these results and the fact that she lived/lives in a tick infested area and her entire family has lyme disease,,,what do you think? is it Time she care for herself?
I'm hoping that by putting this out here, and a few of you respond....she'll gather the strength to consider her health as well as continuing the superior job she does for those she loves. including me, btw.
tia, for all who jumps in.
IgG IND 31, 39 41++
IgM IND 41 IND 83-93

In my opinion, looks like Lyme to me.....
Especially bands 31,39 and 41....
This may help explain the WB results: Sroll down to the bands..
Band 39: Unknown what this antigen is, but based on research at the National Institute of Health (NIH), other Borrelia (such as Borrelia recurrentis that causes relapsing fever), do not even have the genetics to code for the 39 kDa antigen, much less produce it. It is the most specific antibody for borreliosis of all.
Band 83: This is the DNA or genetic material of Borrelia burgdorferi. It is the same thing as the 93, based upon the medical literature. But laboratories vary in assigning significance to the 83 versus the 93.
Band 93: The DNA or genetic material of Borrelia burgdorferi."

I would recommend she seek immediate evaluation (for possible co-infections), diagnosis, and treatment, before risking debilitation.
Many of us used to be functional and able to ignore some of our symptoms, until Lyme and co-infections took over and made us home or bed-bound.

Thank you all for the responses...as usual you all jump in to help!
This gal is very very very aware of what lyme is and what lyme does. She still teaches me things after all these years.
My purpose was to get your thoughts on whether or not you feel she needs to consider treatment. She always puts me off and says: yeah, yeah, not yet; too much to handle.
but, I do like the reminders of just how specific her "bands" are..so thanks for the links, etc.
if I'd reveal her name I know that she'd get enough of you to persude her to "do the right thing" and make 1 more appt...
thanks bettyg for your link help:
I should've mentioned she's well equipped with knowledge, but I somehow thought you'd all know that. my bad.
thanks again everyone....hopefully, you just helped shake her tree.
