Saved my son's life. I am very serious about that!
I wonder how the Japanese would deal with Bb?

yeah, i'm curious too. sometimes i just think they're ahead of us in some areas and i'd like to find out if they have lyme and how they're treating it, and if anybody over there is getting any better.

Zhang is from China and he has written a book on Chinese herbs for lyme which his company sells. Allicin, which is a very high potency garlic, is the primary herb he recommends for lyme but he also uses coptis and something he calls R5081. Houtuynia is used for bartonella and aretemisia for babesia.

I saw at least 10 Chinese doctors while I was struggling to find a dx over the years. None had a clue that it may have been lyme.
Nobody was able to help me.

Chinese medicine focuses on balancing meridians, balancing organs. The focus has never been on pathogens unless acute, because the approach has always been that if your body is in balance chronic illness wouldn't have occurred.
With that said, I've only heard of Zhang's protocol

Dr. Buhner has a book describing his Chinese herbal approach to lyme and co infections.

Lyme doesn't exist in the Orient. Posted by Marnie (Member # 773) on :
Seekhelp...a joke, right?
It is in China and Japan...

They attribute it to bird migrations.
Our states...Alaska is one of four? What are the others and why?

m0joey is right. That is the reason people who studied the western medicine have a hard time accepting Chinese method of treatment.

YES, Marnie a joke of course. Just trying to lighten things up here with IDSA logic.
