I received my 1st Bicillan shot yesterday from my LLMD to help rid a nasty UTI. I have never taken Bicillan before. I have not taken abx in a long time...I have been doing alternative therapies and have felt symptom free for quite some time. About 4-5 hours after the shot, I felt Lyme like all over again. Aching muscles, terrible fatigue, sore joints....I am assuming this is a herx...which suprises me becuse I dont herx on most things anymore and have been feeling great. Any thoughts on this?

Yes... it most certainly may be working that quickly!
This is why many prefer IM Bicillin LA to other meds. It works w/out having to process through the GI tract, gets into tight places that other meds can't, passes the BBB and is a great alternative choice between orals and IV. (actually many stay on orals w/ this med)
Sounds like you have stirred things up Nikki. But, it is always best to check with your doc to make certain, OK?
