i am sorry if this has already been discussed,

but does a sed rate of 4 mean anything? i was

expecting it to be high since i have lyme and

babs, if this means thick blood, then is there

anything i can take without a prescription? i

already take aspirin, thanks for any help

Hey Radha,

My doc said that a low sed rate (under 5) is really not a good sign either. He said it means your blood just sort of goes PLOP and sinks to the bottom.

I have seen others say that low SED can be a sign of hypercoaugulation. Some naturla things to take:

lumbrokinase
nattokinase
serrapeptase

Sed rate is just an indicator. I do believe in Bb

it can lie as Bb goes in it makes them appear

heavier. Not actual protein making the cells heavy.

It is Bb. The tests for thick blood are different.

Protein levels in Bb are what counts not Sed rate.

My sed rate is always 0 or 1. Hence, regular docs say I'm healthy as a horse and have no form of infection. My hypercoagulation panel from HEMIX was perfect. No issues according to my LLMD.

Mine is always 1. I gather from what I have read that it is probably okay and not an indicator of anything too unusual, but I have it on my list of questions to ask my LLMD next month when I go.

Thats right. Most believe low sed rate is good.

If is full of protein you have nothing to worry

about. If it is not as in my case, very low protein

level, it is indicative of something else making them heavy.
