Since this is a yeast product, does it antagonize any yeast problems that people have?

Saccromyces is a yeast, but a helpful one at that. It will not cause a proliferation of candida.

It is very helpful in the prevention of c-diff, an infection caused by an absence of flora necessary in the colon. C-diff is something that you do not want to get.

It is very hard to get rid of, painful, and not too pleasant. Symptoms are diarehaa, stomach pain, foul smelling stools.

Some antibiotics are more prone to create a c-diff environemnt than others, but I would err on the side of caution and take saccromyces boullardi to help prevent this.

The yeast in EpiCor is nothing more than common Brewers Yeast. Which according to Bill Sardi, is just as effective as saccromyces in preventing c-diff infections.

He even goes so far as to say that giving nursing home patients a tablespoon per day would prevent many deaths from c-diff aquired in nursing homes.

So, it is a goood thing!

...cerevisiae=cervoise=cerveza depending on the translation.

...I'm on the way to the fridge for a health-filled therapeutic Corona as we speak....

Don't know if Corona is really the way to go (I think most commercial producers filter out the yeast before it gets to you) :-(

But I was reading about this and supposedly it increases activity of the Natural Killer cells in the immune system -- and lyme impacts NK cells, specifically the CD-57 subset...

Epicor is supposed to increase NK cells by 400%. I've been taking it for about a year now.
