nasty thrush or something on tongue, brown in color, hydrogen peroxide doesn't scratch it, When I do get it under control its back in 2 hours and everything is on fire in my mouth. How is this related and does anyone else have this?

my tongue looks like a crater covered battlefield it is truly disgusting, from aforementioned crap.

I have tongue issues as well. Mine isn't discolored but it does feel "burnt". Also it sometimes appears swollen and the tastebuds at the tip of tongue are pretty much constantly inflamed. Looks scaly.

interesting, thanks for the response. I remember reading about a connection between this and the war going on in our bodies, I guess it's just an infection thing.

I can almost watch this stuff grow by the minute it's awful.

The burning on the tip of my tongue almost sent me through the roof for years until I got my Lyme and cos. diagnosis and started on abx.

It was never discolored, but it burned like fire. It has pretty much cleared up now except for occasional episodes.

Are you on abx now? I don't know much about yeast, but I have heard that one can get oral yeast. There is a prescription liquid that you can swish around in your mouth to help. I have no idea if it works, though.

Tongue symptoms were one of my early symptoms prior to dx and tx. Burning, tremoring, tingling, numb. I still have ongoing tongue symptoms and am 16 months treating, grrrr. I believe for me it's due to cranial nerve response/irritation due to the infections. I've seen slight improvement, but it is painfully slow...like all symptom improvement for me. I feel for ya. Hope you see improvement soon. Good Luck. TS

Sounds like it could be yeast from all the antibiotics. It is pretty common to get thrush

with all that we take. Do you take good pro-biotics? I take one called Tanflora, my doc.

recommended it. He has me open the capsule and rub the powder on my tonge before bed to kill

the yeast when I see it coming on. Good luck to you.
