I'be been rifing with the DT rife since October and have recently been working with an alternative doc who has me on Noni and Quina.

I've been getting a whole lot worse lately. I attribute that to possible adding Noni and Quina and changing the rife protocol a bit.

Yesterday I rifed, could barely walk after a few hours and was in a significant amout of pain. Previously I felt rife wasn't working that great.

I made a change by moving my rife mahcine closer after talking to DT.

Does this sound like a horrible herx or am I getting worse for some reason. Scares me when I can barely walk.

I haven't been this bad in years.

I had to stop taking abx last year...I can no longer tolerate them.

My daughter can't get out of bed with 1 minute of rifing, so I would say it is probably a herx.

You need to take it slow. Our machine is pretty powerful--you don't need to be in the same room.

I'm not sure that moving your's closer would give you a stronger effect. Did you change the program or the time length?

Hey tickalert...the worse herx I ever had from rifing was when I decided to sit my DT in my lap. I could barely move for about 3 days. It was miserable. I believe with the EMEM the closer it is the harder you herx.

I'm right there with you - having a horrible time right now and I haven't been this sick in about three years since before I started treatment. It's scary and discouraging. Hang in there!

You lose approximately half of the power of the machine for every foot of distance you are from it. So at two feet you have 1/4 of the power than if it was against your body.

The closer it is, the more effective it is.

The only change I made was putting the rife closer to me like DT recommended.

I would say the herxes are about the same. Be sure not to rife more often than every two weeks.

Is your magnesium level up to par? Liver support? Can you get a massage?

Do you have Rosner's book about rife/lyme?

Metal detox may also be a concern because the spirochetes, as they die, release heavy metals that they've previously captured, some mop-up agent is required. Chlorella or cilantro may be of help. I would stay far, far away from EDTA, though. I've had disasters with that. I feel the best with Chlorella tablets or a mixed green powder such as Green Vibrance by Vibrant Health.

---

While this may be very rough, it at least appears that you've hit on something - you know you're getting an effect with the frequencies. Now, how to manage that. In 12 days, if you are up for it again, I would do it for less time - and plan a massage for right afterward, perhaps.

Be sure to rest as much as you need to right now. And be sure to eat frequent small meals. If your liver pathway, Cytochrome P-450 is overwhelmed, fasting will make symptoms MUCH worse. Be sure you get some carbs and that will help decrease porphyrins that can be a result of the stressed C P-450 pathway.

Beta carotene is excellent to help keep porphryins lower, too. the greens powders are rich in beta carotene.

Lymetoo, was Abx what you used to achieve remission or did you do this with rife?

Keebler, how do you know that Spirochetes release heavy metals when they die ? Just curious.

TickAlert, I also use DT's EMEM5a and was wondering what frequencies you are using and how long for each.

I use 832 for Bart 1 Min.
570 for Babs 1 Min.
and I have put Lyme on hold for the last month on 432 to decrease the Herx's as I am also doing Salt/C.

I have always been 1 foot away from the machine when using it. I have spoken to many that tell me this machine is stronger than any coil due to the Helium bulb, despite the Amps being less. This would explain why most can't sit in front of an EMEM for long and those with Coils can sit with the coil against their chest for up to 45 min. or longer.

I am by no means an expert and just repeating what has been told to me, again by many.

The Herxing your getting sounds very similar to what I get. I just Rifed this morning and it hasn't hit me yet. I usually get a delayed Herx, but be sure it will come.

I'm trying to figure out which of the three Bacteria is causing this Vertigo I'm getting. It came on like a month ago. It comes and goes, so I would think inflammation is out as being a cause.

I wonder if Bb is the cause and if a short session on Lyme freq. would help with this.

I wait 2 weeks now and my Herxing is reduced, as compared to the every week I was doing. It may be a slower recovery, but at least I have days where I can get out and don't feel so sick like your describing, although again, I do get the weak legs, fatigue, nausea, and more.

I have found the Coffee Enemas and Epsom Salt baths to help the most with this crap. I am also taking Mag, CoQ10, Vit. D, P-biotics, Vit. C, and occasional Bentonite. If there is Heavy Metal, than the Bentonite should take care of removing this.

Anxiety still seems to be my big problem, especially first thing in the morning as it wakes me out of my sleep.

Hope that helps,

Lymetwister

LT I'm using 1518 for Bart, 20 and 27 for babs. I have both co infections.

Keebler I do not have Bryan's book but should get it. I'm doing a hoemopath from my LLMD for liver detox right now. Magnesium is some thing I'm doing. I do have some and will start this today.

You asked: " how do you know that Spirochetes release heavy metals when they die ? Just curious. "

- It is in Rosner's book. That rife book is an invaluable tool.

- Rosner is not the only person to write about this, though. I'd never rely on just one person's account. Heavy metal sequestering is a huge problem with lyme and no lyme treatment is complete without addressing that.

You might look up the work of Deitrich (or Dietrich) Klinghardt. Just Google the name and you'll find details on neurotoxin stuff reagarding lyme and heavy metals. His protocol is more that I can handle but it's important to read and do what you can.

==========

Also, be sure to eat frequent meals. Even more so with heavy metal detox, excess porphyrins can become a problem.

In addition to my notes above, you might read the articles here about secondary porphyria. Note that all the symptoms of a herx also match. So, if this might be connected, there are things you can do and not fasting is on of those.

Beta carotene another.

good luck.

Wow! Thanks for posting this topic and for everyone's responses! I just spoke with DT (who is just an unbelievable human being!) and am getting the EMEM5a (about a month wait right now).

I am so afraid of the herxing, so I'm going to start out really slow, I wasn't aware about the power being reduced for each foot that the machine is away from the body though, that's very important to know.

I am so afraid of getting as sick as I was years ago because I have kids to care for now. Do most of your herxes resolve in about 36 hours? At least my mom is a teacher and has summers off, so she can take the kids for a couple of days if needed.

I second the Rife machine book by B Rosner. I just ordered it last Wed I think and I just got it today!

I haven't read the whole thing, but so far, it's amazing!

Take care,
Ocean

Tickalert,

How long do you run each freq. and how often ?

The frequencies you are using are interesting as the ones I listed are the most common ones used from Rosners Rife group on Yahoo.

Are you definately Herxing from these ? The frequencies you list are the ones DT gave me, but I was told to use the ones I'm using. I wonder if this might be your problem.

Again, I'm no expert by any means when it comes to this stuff, I just follow what others are doing.

I can still get into the Yahoo Lyme Rife group for old messages, but if you never belonged, you can't get in. Again, the folks in their talk mostly about 832 for Bart, 432 for Lyme, and 570 for Babs.

I didn't know which way to go when I got my machine as DT told me one thing, but I saw the vast majority using these other frequencies, so I went the majority.

P.S. Thanks for the reply and links Keebler

No delayed Herx today. I think I killed a ton of them with this mornings Rife session.

Geez a Wiz

My body is going crazy. Shaking all over but staying calm, and riding it out for the moment. Just did an Epsom salt bath.

0.25mg of Xanax taken just in case, but Anxiety is in check and that is very unusual for me.

Perhaps I got them off my HPA, but I doubt it. That would be too good and a sign of progress for me. I would kill to remember what it feels like to be relaxed again.

Going to a far away island for a while when this whole thing is over and just gonna lay in the sun and drink a Martini.

lymetwister,

that link made the thread go very long - even off the page.

Would you please copy that link to http://tinyurl.com/ and make a tiny url to replace the long one?'

Thanks.

I'm wondering if I'm not doing well because of the frequencies I'm using are not working. I have used 432 for lyme.

My ART Doc said Lyme is gone...dealing more with co infections bart/babs. Next rife session, I'm using the frequencies given and ordering Bryan's book today.

lymetwister,

The point of using the tiny URL is not just for me, it's to bring the whole thread back to normal width for everyone. If you label that link a Tiny URL and then delete the other very long link, the thread will go back to normal width.

thanks.

Here is Brian Rosners other book for preview on Google Books:

(The Top 10 Lyme Disease Treatments: Defeat Lyme Disease with the Best of Conventional and Alternative Medicine)

This is also a nice book to own: Dr. S in Florida is involved in this book and gives a Foreword.

This is probably a dumb question, but do you have to be sitting right up close to the GB-4000 Rife machine to have a stronger reaction? Or doesn't it matter with the GB-4000?

Posted by D Bergy (Member # 9984) on :

No such thing as a dumb question. I ask a million questions a year.

Being that the GB-4000 is normally used in a contact mode, it does not matter if you are close to it or not. The frequencies are delivered by the hand and foot contacts via the wires.

Distance only applies when the signal is being broadcast by a plasma tube or any other broadcast method such as the Coils on a Doug Coil machine.
