Long time since last post...enduring in silence mostly. New concerns bring me back to the experts. I read all the back posts, but wanted to see if there is more information.
Every since going off iv last fall, I have had leg & ankle pain, swelling, and burning. At that time, LLMD said it was Bart rearing it's ugly head and I've been treating both Bart & Lyme with orals since. Comes & goes but is daily. Severity changes as well. Seems to follow my cycle of symptoms. There are days I feel hobbled-staying off my legs doesn't usually make a difference other then relieves some pain.
At LLMD visit yesterday, doc saw both legs & feet in action for the 1st time. She is ordering blood tests and said is concerned about advanced vasculitis. We then discussed my temperal headaches/migrains and my Raynauds, stating these all can be related.
Other then reading horror stories on MD pages, my main concern is treatment- steroids! LLMD said she would refer me to a rhummy after reading tests. I would like to hear from others that have experienced this and other treatment options. I'm also hoping that this could be the answer to my brain pain...if not treated what damage am I doing to my brain? Other organs...
