I just read something about Dr. H. doing a 5-day pulse once or twice monthly with Factive for bartonella. Does anyone know about this? Has anyone had success with it for bart, esp. hard to treat bart?

I'm starting this today or tomorrow (trying to search for last min experiences!).
We just plan on doing 5 days straight with 100Mg of Mino and seeing what it nets.
If nothing...then back to my regularly scheduled program.
We are specifically targeting my urethral & prostate symptoms which the doc is attributing to bartonella .

I did the 5 day factive along with doxy in April. I had no response at all...nothing
I only did it that one time so am not sure if I would have had a response the second time around.

I just finished 5 days of Factive yesterday. No bad side effects, except I did have increased lower back pain.
But how do you know, he started me on 3 new things. I didn't start them all the same time but still....
I have felt a little better the last 3 days, but then I started on LDN too. How do you know?

I know the Doxycycline is working. It's extended release. It's called Dorxy.
The other aspects of the Cowden (Not Banderol or Samento) are definitely decreasing my pain. When I used Banderol and Samento without any other support/detox it caused excruciating herxheimer reactions and pain. Now I am up to 20 drops twice per day of "both" Samento and Banderol. By the time I'm done it'll be 60 dps per day for each. That's badass.
I also know the Zeolite caused anxiety and basic detox reactions, but it faded. When I did a prior detox protocol using DMSA (Chelex) Chlorella, ALA, NAC, Algas, I had the same symptoms. They too faded.
