Just got them faxed from my doc's office, but she isn't in today to read them, so I'm trying to read them myself (bad idea, i know).
Ehrlichia-HME panel (monocytic), my IgM is 1:40
Babesia- B. Microti antibody G/M. my IgM is 1:20- still waiting on the FISH results
If I'm reading the explanations right, these both indicate 'positive' results, is that correct?
Any insight is appreciated, after 10 months of intense headache/neck pain, I'm very anxious about these results

Yea, these are 'above' the ranges (i.e. positive) it would seem...

I can't answer the question without seeing the reference ranges. Look for something that has the symbol > or <, and type what is around that for us.
Or maybe they don't provide you with a range on the testing. I don't know because I haven't had this test from Igenex.
Those levels seem kind of low to me though, so they might not be positive. The Erlichia could be. 40 after the : is worse than 20. You have to have high numbers to be positive. It just depends what the cutoffs are, and that would be next to the >
For example, my babesia test through a different lab was 1:512, and that is positive, because 512 is high. But it varies lab to lab, so 1:40 could be high for that lab, I don't know.

Just spoke to the doctor-positive IgM WB (IgeneX & CDC/NYS), positive for Ehrlichia and borderline Babesia....can't believe I might have an answer after nearly a year!
IgG positive bands:
18 + 23-25 + 30 ++ 31 +++ 34 ++ 39 IND 41 +++ 58 + 83-93 +

Hope you are seeing a good LLMD already.
If not, post on the Seeking a Doctor board, since a non-LLMD will not treat you adequately.

Believe it or not, I just got off the phone with a family friend who is an ID and he basically discounted everything my other doc said, and said that since my IgM was negative, the Lyme can't be what is causing my headaches/facial pain/neck pain for over a year, bc IgM only indicated 'new' infection (and yes I don't plan on listening to him, I've read Dr. B's explanation of the WB and trust a Lyme expert over this guy)-goes along with everything I've read about non LLMDs!

The babs is really borderline...mine was 1:40 and that's considered borderline as well....

your lucky,my DR wouldnt even send me a copy i just had an igenex done a few weeks ago, DR left me a message saying i was cdc negative, so NO LYME!
yea right,then when i tried to get them to fax me a copy they said no way unless you come in & sign a paper for it, ( and some other blood work) and pay for the copies!!
im 80 miles one way from her, so i will have to wait till i go to my regular appt in july
I really think these DR's are trying to sweep these tests under the rug, especially the Igenex ones.
they don't want the hassle of dealing with a Lymie IMO
sigh...... i don't know what were all going to do if more of these LLMD's dont start taking Ins, but i guess thier backed against a wall there.

Glad you were able to figure out some things.
You said in your above post, positive on IgM, then listed your IgG bands.
So if your IgM reads "positive" as well, on the IgM you could only have 2 of specific bands, and it would still be a positive......so don't think IgM is less positive if you do in fact have certain bands on it. For example: 41 and 23 would give you an IgM pos. On IgG, you need more bands for that one to be pos. Weird, I know.

Wow. Great showing. How did you do that?
Did you challenge with antibiotics or just go for
it? Glad you did not have to wait any longer for
answers. I hope you have a easy time in treatment

I didn't do anything to get these results (other than have a constant daily headache for a year haha) and ignore what the headache specialists wanted to diagnose me with as "new daily headache."
I'm still so confused though about the whole 'contrevorsy' surrounding lyme-everyone here says these are such 'clear' results, yet that stupid ID was underwhelmed (again, I don't plan to follow his thinking, but I'm so confused/scared for the 'fight' i may have ahead of me).
Does anyone ever get better after one round of treatment???
