I am hurting alot these days and I need to atleast be able to sleep 8 hrs a night (my only time I am not in pain [Wink] )

Anything they have there that you have had success with? I have tried melatonin before but it did not work well... maybe it was a bad brand or something...

Anything just to help me fall asleep a little easier and keep me from waking up so much throughout the night...

Thanks!

Highly doubtful unless they have valerian capsules, 400 or 800mg. It takes those and .5 clonazepam to put me to sleep. Did melatonin and all that other stuff, no luck with them.

Try Benadryl, or the much cheaper store-brand generic diphenhydramine HCL usually sold as allergy capsules or caplets.

Says to take 2. I take 3. Sometimes I add .5mg clonazepam.

i have been using a product called "sleep MD" it's got a lot of natural things in it.

And for me it works great! i even started dreaming again, so i know im getting in the deeper sleep we desperately need.

it usually gives me at least 5 or6 pretty good hours, thats a record for me.

ooh and its like 14.00 for a box of 30 so really reasonable.

When I have trouble falling asleep, I like to use a homeopathic remedy blend called Calms Forte' by Hylands. It contains homeopathic doses of calming herbs and minerals.

We don't have CV's here and I don't shop at Walgreens, but hopefully one or the other of them would have that.

I've heard that the secret to melatonin is to take low doses of sustained release. It never worked for me, though.

Sleep tight.

Formula 303 (Valerian root)

It is a muscle relaxant.

It has a real "stink", but sure does work!!! I originally got it from a chiropractor.

http://www.formula303.com/

The above "saved me" when I had a slipped disk and had to ride in a car from Fl to IL 21 hours in tremendous pain. I was having tremendous back muscle spasms.

Source Naturals Melatonin 2mg timed release. I get it at a SuperValue nutrition store. It is an anti-oxidant and helps us to FALL asleep.

Combo?
http://allnutri.com/pid4997/knock-out+melatonin+with+theanine+and+valerian.aspx

Mg citrate, 200mg AND a B complex usually work for me. The little Mg in Formula 303 is a drop in the bucket.

Pain...2 Advil.

Play a CD called "Sleep Deeply"...I promise you will be surprised...out before the end of 2nd track. Order it from the internet.

Unisom blocks acetylcholine...and is used for hyperemesis...(serotonin excess)...interesting!!!

You can always try NyQuil if you are desperate. Just watch for the hangover in the morning.

I have given Melatonin to my 8 year old who suffers from insomnia and it worked wonders for her.

Are you on the computer or TV late at night? That can cause sleep problems as well.
