I posted earlier about a freckle-like rash that I get on my arms and legs and stomach. I now think they are petechiae. I also get cherry angiomas - mostly on my trunk.

Anyone else?

Any thoughts?

i call them my red boinkey dots...i've got them all over. seem to be getting worse and larger.

my mom had them, some the size of a dime, but my sister's don;t.

i hate them. wish they'd go away...

Yes, I get them. I used to only have a few, but now that I am on abx I get them much more often. I suspect the abx is activating them somehow.

Some fade after a few days. It looks like some other ones are here to stay. [Roll Eyes]

Can be a Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever symptom. You can google for photos.

I have small petechiae dots on my arms and legs.

They seem to have gotten worse since I have started supplements and antibiotics a few weeks ago.

I figure it's either from the bacteria dying off or a medication side effect.

I get the bright red dots - the cherry angiomas. Those linger a long time and are mostly on my trunk.

My petechiae rashes look like hundred of pale freckles all over my legs and arms and sometimes on my stomach. I seem to get them in the sun (not heat rash - not bumpy or itchy). I have been getting them since my symptoms started 20 years ago so they are not a reaction to meds.

I have searched all over the web and can't really find any good description of what I get.

I wonder if it is erlichiosis? Don't think it's RMSF since I've been sick so long and the rash isn't bumpy.

I appreciate all of your input and welcome more. I would love to figure this out.

I get petechiae too. If you search "petechiae" you will find a ton of threads about them. They seem to be pretty common.
