im going to start ceftin and tinidazol next week. burrascano writes about ceftin (the medicine he used to cure himself):
"As with the penicillins, try to achieve high, sustained blood and tissue levels by frequent dosing and/or the use of probenecid."
has anyone used ceftin with probenecid? how do you use it (with ceftin or hours away)? which dose? is it safe to take?

Regarding the timing of the ceftin and probenecid, the studies I found seem to indicate that it may not matter all that much - probenecid 3h before ceftin, with ceftin and probenecid administered after ceftin reached stable plasma levels - in each case the plasma levels of ceftin were increased.
With respect to safety profile, sorry I do not have much to offer.
