The Lyme bacteria use up our magnesium, causing a deficiency. A number of Lyme symptoms can be helped by supplementing with magnesium.

Your son is in my prayers, we're in the same situation here w/ my daughter, she wears bose noise cancelling headphones (36db, I think), as well as earplugs underneath the headphones. Nothing has helped, so far...

Carol, thanks for this link. When I eat just a little of a magnesium supplement my left leg starts to vibrate very bad. Then I also get some muscle twitching. Everybody else have this problem?

Sound and vibration cannot be fully blocked even with ear plugs AND muffs - as bone conduction plays a major role. Hyperacusis is very common with lyme and magnesium is a major help.
