My right arm feels limp and is getting smaller. I started showing lyme symptoms 6 weeks ago.

Has anyone experienced a single limb getting withering away with lyme?

I understand the limpness feeling as I have had that too in my arms and my legs.

I am not sure what you mean by your arm getting smaller unless you mean it is weaker. That I have definitely have experienced.

Muscle wasting does happen with lyme disease, but that seems like a pretty fast reaction. When you say you started showing symptoms 6 weeks ago, do you mean that is when you were bitten, or could you have had this longer, in a latent status?

Could be a muscle spasm. My left arm is frequently about 6 inches shorter than my right. I also thought it must be muscle-wasting. But when I went to a chiropractor and she released the muscle, my arm went back to normal length- for a short while anyway. It keeps shrinking back, after treatments, and hurts quite a bit. If anything, physical therapy made it worse. Ben Gay in my neck helps a little.

I just started twitching and having the limp noodle feeling about six weeks ago.

It's possible this started two years ago and I never really noticed. It seems odd that my dominant bicep would be smaller than my other bicep.

It's also possible I'm just over examining my body now that parts of my body are starting to move on their own.
