I know I don't have good circulation. Maybe that's what this is. Not sure.
I Inhale deeply and my arms/hands tingle.
Any thoughts? Posted by Aniek (Member # 5374) on :
Sounds like something is out of alignment and putting pressure on a nerve when the lungs expand.

I have been seeing a chiropractor since October or November.
It has done wonders for a lot of my pain and some of the numbness/tingling issues.
It might be something to look into.

It might be caused by Lyme damaging hormone gland(s) and the CNS, which can have a large effect on the autonomic nervous system.
The Autonomic Nervous System controls things like chills, goosebumps, temperature, etc., among many other things.
Or it could be peripheral neuropathy, which is also caused by damage to the nervous system, but in the peripheral nervous system.
Or the two could both be involved, since it happens when you breathe in.
It is likely that with proper Lyme and co-infection treatment that this symptom will go away entirely.
There's another thread recently posted within the last week or so about goosebumps for seemingly no reason. You might also want to look for that thread, since it might be related somehow.
