Ok, the usual questions from a typical lymie...me..

I was doing really well with my lyme recovery, having been off abx for 3 mos and having only minor headaches or oddities during that spell.

Then this past Monday, I got a bad case of bloating, GERD that came after auras, which made me suspect stomache migraine.

It then rolled into Tuesday when I was home sick from work with an A-typical migraine of headache, foggy, surreal feelings...

That rolled into last night when it then became some hot, cold flashes, wanting to shake, arthritic feelings, and eventually a brief cry spell because of two straight days of crud.

Today I was feeling wiped out, so, I went in to see my family dr. The usual... they question if it was ever lyme, blah, blah, who was treating you, blah, blah, what meds/supplements were you on, blah, blah, till eventually they sent me away with some blood tests and no idea why I was feeling the way I was...other then to note that I was seeing a mental health person for the encephalitis recovery (noises, smells, quick temper), and perhaps it was related to that.. yeah, right...

So.. the Qs:
(1) Is it possible I had a natural herx (meaning it was a lyme bout that my body fought on its own without abx?) In tracking my past lyme cycle, it would indeed be in the middle of the 28-30 day cycle.
(2) Was it all a bad migraine that lasted 2-3 days?..given I had auras on Monday night and Tuesday night, its possible, although Ive never had migraines last that long.
(3) Is my B12 lowering to the point of feeling all the oddities (b12 deficiencies runs in my family)
(4) ..or any other suggestions?

btw: ..the blood test my family dr ordered up were: blood panel, thyroid, B12..she refused to check for mono or lyme, or swine flu.

As always...Thanks!

No ideas?

Well, for what its worth.. today I added back in Garlic, Oregano oil, Olive leaf, Cats claw, and digestive enzymes.

Not sure why this came out of nowhere, but it sure feels like the old lyme crap to me.. ugh...

Did you ever get treated for Babs and/or Bart?

I had gotten my lyme somewhat 'under control' earlier this year after tx for 2 years. Then my doc started treating for Bart and Babs (I finally tested + for both, 3rd time's a charm). It was then that I started experiencing the same sx you describe, but to a greater degree and with some added unpleasantries.

My 2nd migraine lasted a week and a half, and most of the time was completely debilitating.

I don't know which of my sx was which disease, but if I had to guess for you I would say Bart. I say that because my Babs herx when I started Alinia was different sx.

With 2 mos of tx all of my sx are diminishing now. Yesterday I woke up feeling the migraine trying to come on, with the nausea, but it never really manifested. I think I'm finally beating these co's.

I was tested for coinfections through igenex a year ago, and it came back negative. My LLMD believes the lyme is done, and that any remaining issues might be encephalitis/meningitis related. My PCP thinks Im experiencing migraines from the enceph/menin recovery as well.

Anyone else have enceph/menin...and if so..how long before completely healed up? By this fall its been 3 yrs since I originally came down with all of this...

Im still waiting to hear back from my LLMD to talk about whats recently happened (two weeks ago I canceled my apptmt for tomorrow as I was doing so well...darn...should have kept it.)

I may see a headache specialist through my HMO mainly to see what trx options they have for migraines....if...this is all migraine. To me, they all feel eerily familiar...

I saw my LLMD and he thought that would I had was not lyme related (whew), but instead was an episodic yeast flare up. So its back to the stricter yeast diet again (I had been straying from it recently since I was feeling so much better).

So for those who have a sudden relapse after a long time of feeling well, look at yeast as a possible culprit.
