I just got my results back from Igenex. The results are as followed:
23-25 ++ 30+ 31++ 41++ 45+ 83-93 IND
This test shows me positive on the IGM Blot by Igenex and CDC/NYS, but it shows me negative on the Igg for both of them. I only have 4 positive bands and a IND.
My question is why wouldn't both of these test show me positive? Also, with the first test showing me positive does it mean I have lyme disease for sure?
I've been twitching and jerking and snapping and cracking for almost a year now.
Any help greatly appreciated.

You have Lyme ....with a positive test and symptoms, that indicates Lyme Disease. The IgM and IgG are slightly different things, but you only need one to be positive to show you have Lyme. IgG generally shows up after you've had Lyme for a while, but some only remain IgM positive.
I hope you have a good LLMD for treatment.

Mike,
I believe IGM suggests a current infection. IGG is past infections or you body hasnt developed enough antibodies to fight it off.
Your LLMD will most likely treat on your symptoms and not just test results.
In case you dont have this document, I have attached the top USA's lyme doc's guidelines for your review and reference. Its loaded with great information regarding, symptoms, diagnosis, and recommended treatment.
Good luck and keep us posted. Posted by marathonrun10 (Member # 19350) on :
Thanks for the info. I'm scheduled to see Dr. C in Mo. on August 12th. I have had these symptoms for sometime and was beginning to think I was going crazy in my head with just all these weird symptoms. I think I have had this for a few years now. It started with upset stomach in the morning when i first got up and headaches. As time has went on the symptoms are getting where i can't ignore them anymore.
I have also noticed like cat scratches that just appear on my skin. They start as a red line then they split open then they heal. It's really weird.

Hi,
Your "cat scratches" that appear on your skin sound alot like bartonella rashes.....see pics in this link.....
