Wow, it even includes many anti-depressants, certain antacids, Lariam, Diflucan, cholesterol lowering drugs, etc.

I am no fan of fluoride, but I hope they are not going to take fluoroquinolones off the market, or I am screwed.
Cipro is the only ABX I am not allergic to, and I have absolutely no side-effects from it, even at high doses and when taken for a couple of months at a time.
Diflucan has done wonders at calming my anxiety and lifting my depression,an unexpected benefit.
It has not done such a good job with the thrush and vulvar vestibulitis which it was prescribed for. But, anything that helps my depression (anti-deps do not) is welcome.
I guess I am the exception that proves the rule.

Wow, that's very interesting about the depression and the Cipro!
I was on Cipro back in april 2000 for a few weeks after getting my appendix removed after it ruptured.
I felt so HAPPY for awhile. I just remember feeling like for the first time in years I could do anything I wanted. It was amazing and totally unexpected. Didn't last as I only had a few weeks worth, course didn't know then that my CFS was really Lyme either.
I worry about taking it again though due to the possible side effects, I didn't notice any when I was on it back then though.

Hi Ocean, Sorry if my post was confusing. If you read it again, you will see that it was not the Cipro that lifted my depression, it was the Diflucan, another drug with fluoride in it.
Cipro had no effect on my state of mind. But Diflucan has helped so much that if my doc refuses to give me more of it when I call her tomorrow, I may order it from one of those online places where you don't need a script. I just took my last Diflucan pill a few minutes ago, and I still have thrush.
I am glad Cipro helped you....maybe it was getting rid of Bartonella. If you still have Bart symptoms, you may want to ask for a longer course of Cipro to get rid of the Bart.
From what I've seen in many years of reading this forum, people who are going to have trouble with fluroquinolones usually have it pretty quickly.

Ahhh...gotcha, OK. Do you think the Diflucan could have been really helping with the yeast and that is what helped you so much?
I had no idea that certain drugs contain fluoride. I've read that it can be very bad, yet I have allowed my kids to have the fluoride treatments at the dentist. I don't know what to think anymore!
