I'm experiencing some unwanted weightloss. Been on 2x200mg Plaquenil, 500mg Azithromax and 500mg Cefuroxime a day for about 2 1/2 months.

I read that Plaquenil may cause weightloss. But want to get an "overview" of how frequent this happens. Any1 else with this experience?

Or is the weightloss due to my body working hard getting rid of things? I'm herxing big time.

I have been onbiaxin and plaquenil for 4 months now andhave lost 40 lbs. Unwanted also. I am 5'7 and I weigh 117 which is not healthy for me.

Are you experiencing loss of appetite and diarrhea? Thats what is causing it for me....

I've lost about 17 lbs. My BMI is on the borderline of underweight now [Frown]

40 lbs on 4 months is alot. What does your LLMD say about it?

I am experiencing loss of appetite, yes. But not diarrhea. I get it if I dont take my probiotics though or dont eat my abx with food.

Have occasionally loose stools/diarrhea. Mostly when I'm having the monthly big time herxing.

I was starting to lose weight on Plaquenil. I was only on it for about a month and I lost maybe 5 pounds.

Had to temporarily stop due to a rash.
