Hi all, Since entering my 4th week of treatment for lyme disease, I have been experiencing extreme tenderness in my underarm area, particularly on the left side.
Does this have anything to do with my lymp nodes? There are no lumps or anything such really sore to the touch...sometimes it is too painful to wear a bra. Any feedback?

It most probably does have to do with swollen lymph nodes and possible signs of a on coming herx.

IMO it is Bart related!
I would get that when I was not treating for Bart. With abx tx it goes away. It can also be toxins too and Lymph drainage should give you relief in the form of massage or supplements IMO.

I always get that when I herx. I usually wait 6 hours outside of taking the medicine and then I take a couple of charcoal capsules and lay down for an hour. Later I feel much better. (Charcoal is great at pulling out toxins! It pulls out medicine too, so you have to take it "outside" of medicine time or on detox days.

I get the same thing.
We think it is Bartonella related for me. (I tested positive)
I also get the same congested, inflammed tenderness in the groin area.

I get that too. My LLMD says it is Bart-related.
It comes and goes and usually lasts three to four days.
There are lymph nodes located under your arms and in your breast area that may be inflamed. I found a good website one time that showed all the lymph nodes in the body. I'll try and find it again and let you know in case you want to look at it.

I get this too, also usually on the left.
I didn't mention it to my LLMD. I do have a Bart dx.

Mine worse side is also on the left.
We can't all be crazy, right? This must be Bartonella.

My problems with this are also on the left side. This is really an eye-opener to me.
I thought I was the only one with this problem although knowing that others have this too doesn't make me feel any better -- just sorry.

YES...lymph related!
I have had this and like you wondered, and my LLMD had no help for this symtom.
Now I have learned, from lymenet, how to combat this.
We all should be doing some natural detox type things during treatment with abx...we need our lymph moving.
Also, take binders, to move the toxins. And hydration is a key element. NOt with just lots of water...but with electrolytes and mineral water! I found a big difference, and finally am moving my lymph.
Also far infrared sauna, lymph massage, Pekana Big Three remedies for lymph, liver, and kidney support, probiotics for candida, and chorella for removal of about everything!!!
Take time to learn about lymph and detox and binders. Do a search here on lymenet...

Also...check the KPU sites.
Most lyme patients have a problem with KPU, which means you body is not able to detox, and re-absorbs toxins. This shows up in the lymph!
Search KPU and Dr. K's guidelines.
