One LLMD brought up the idea it if my titers don't start coming down. Have been on Mepron/macrolide for about 2 years now.

My daughter did when the illness was acute and she was hospitalized w/ a swollen spleen & liver, high fever, very low RBC. She is still symptomatic, but I believe the intervention she received initially in the hospital saved her life, for sure.

Dawn,
Would this be the same as Ultra Violet Blood Transfusion wherein they pull your blood into a machine, zap it with UV rays and cycle the cleansed blood back into your body?
I planned to discuss this option with my doctor on this visit, but whalla! I had a negative babesia test after 2 yrs of positive tests.
We aren't considering me cured yet. I am continuing Mepron/Zith for another 5 weeks before testing again.
I have only been on the Mepron/Zith since Mar, 09, but have done many herbals prior to this in an attempt to lower the load. The only thing previously that also brought about a negative test result was an herbal IV called MTE9.
Have you heard of it?

Hi luvs. WOO-HOO and YIPIE on your recent negative test result!
Hmmm, I'm not sure if it's the same as the UV Transfusion you mentioned. Good question. I will have to ask about that next appt.
No, I have never heard of MTE9, but will DEFINITELY be googling it! Thanks for bringing it up.
