I heard zithro breaks the outer shell of the lyme bacteria. Doxy kills the bacteria, right? Has anyone taken these together (same time)?

My daughter took doxy and zith along with Mepron last fall. It seemed to help her at first, but then it stopped working.

I've been on that combo for 2 months. I'm switching from Doxy to Amoxy at the end of the month.
