I just pulled off a deer tick and now I'm not sure what to do.

Do I take it in to be tested? Do I go right on the antibiotics? I don't have a ring yet...

Advice please....

My LLMD would start treating with doxycycline, 400 mg daily. Call your LLMD immediately.

Send it in and get it tested ASAP! Make sure the lab can test for coinfections like babesia and bartonella, etc.

This will give your LLMD a big advantage in diagnosing what, if any, infection you might have.

Also, it will go a long way towards convincing everyone (like insurance companies) that you have tick borne infection symptoms.

pammy, on no! what state do you live in?

igenex does tick testing ... reasonable

1.800.832.3200 call & price it and hve them tell you how to send etc.

yes, i'd get on 400 of doxy daily for 3 months!
