Just curious to hear what your LLMD thinks about this or if you have any personal experience with trying either of these treatments.

Thanks,

Hi tickbattler,

My doctor seems to think they both are effective with Mepron for babs. My son had some liver enzyme increases with zithromax. He said biaxin would be just fine instead.

Thanks - that's good to hear since my 3 children may all be on this combo!

All 3 of my sons (12,15,&16) have recently been diagnosed w/bB and co-infections.

My 16 yr old son has Babs. and Dr. discussed Mepron. How long has your son been on it?

She started him on Plaquenil as a lyme killer, Biaxin and Actigall and supportive supplements.
