Grapes. Salads.

Celery Juice is incredibly alkalinizing.

We need a food discussion board.

I agree. A food discussion board would be great. I didn't even know there were foods that could prevent biofilm.

Pinelady,

Do you mean foods to reduce Acidity??? The ones you stated are alkalizing. I've always read that bacteria THRIVE in an acid environment...which is why I think a raw vegan diet got me as far as I did and prevented me from ending up in a wheelchair for as long as I've had this. Symptoms get MUCH better or even non-existant with raw food diet...it's just so hard for me to do sometimes!

Barley grass powder is also alkalizing...started it 2 days ago, yesterday I was exhausted...today I'm feeling much better...even drove to 4 stores a few miles by my home today and didn't have much dizziness at all.

Agreed...a food discussion board would be great!

Hi, I started using my blender and greens last week. Felt better for 2 days, then had some issues rear up. Still trying to go "green".

Paul shared a book that is my guide - Raw for Life.

My gut is giving me grief and are new symptoms: intestinal gurgling, spasms in small intestinal area, feel weak and dizzy, plus previous symptoms of head buzz/ear ringing, tingling.

Hard to tell if it is from co-infections, dieoff or what. Most likely from all.

Here's an easy chart for Alkaline versus Acidifying foods: http://www.thewolfeclinic.com/acidalkfoods.html

High Arginine foods sure upset my gut further.

Food Discussion for Lyme would be helpful. Grace

I posted a suggestion in General in the past week and a half or so asking about a seperate section for Nutrition and asked for feedback.

Someone sent a pm to Jennifer to ask about this but we haven't heard back. I will bring it back up so we can get some momemtum going if you want to add a suggestion

Thanks,

Gael

I *think* they are limited by the software as to how many different sections they can have but they have upgraded recently I think so perhaps that has changed.

I've been working on my PH. I've found that if I eat a small piece of avacodo in the morning, I start my day off alkaline.

Good chart Grace. The nightshade vegies tend to promote inflammation so they aren't very good for lyme patients.

The problem is that many foods that are alkalizing are fruits but we can't eat a lot of fruits. I've noticed Stevia is good for keeping an alkaline PH.

My NAET practioner sent me to this website to buy the strips to check my PH. They are all about PH so it's an intersting site.

My LLMD said that an acidic body promotes yeast/fungus.

My PH is staying at less than 7 Doc said I needed

to get it up. Did not figure this in to the

equation till now. I did a test of grapes and yes

it will bring it up fast. But does not last long.

Fresh. I wonder if we all drank some celery juice

and grapes everyday this would help us.

I figure if they are right about this we all need it.

I am juicing celery juice with some carrots, tomatoes and apples for taste. All are alkalinzing.

I just read about acidic and alkaline recently. According to the scale I saw, the ph should be 7.2 slightly more akaline to be healthy.

I am going to find some strips and start testing!

I am doing smoothies and trying to include anything antioparasitic.

Fresh pineapple,

fresh papaya,

yogurt,

1-2 cups green smoothies from Bolthouse Farms,

pumpkin seeds (pre ground)

flax seed,(pre ground)

digestive enzymes,

1/2 bannana,

1/2 cucumber( Cucumber is VERY alkalizing)

1/2 to 1 tsp sea salt

in between herbs from Humaworm.

It is REALLY helping clear the parasites and inflammation
