I goes from his armpit down his side with a little on his trunk.
No other symptoms, that I know of.
He has had Lyme and recieved 2 months of Ceftin last year to be "safe". I only had him tested when I tested positive.
Any ideas what it COULD be?
We have been in West Virginia and Virginia doing outdoor activities.
I did see a tick CRAWLING on his shirt last week. That SOB was big in size and had a white horseshoe marking. I looked him over that night and didn't see anything.
Any imput please???

Do you have a LLMD you can get him to? I would get pics of rash and seek treatment.

jenty, tell us more about what the rash looks like.
For example, does it have a bite mark near the center, which is a much redder spot? Most lyme rashes do.
What do you mean that it has texture? What kind of texture?

So many things can cause a rash, we really need to see a picture of the rash to help. Can you post one?
A rash could be caused by some kind of irritation--such as something that rubbed on him and sort of brush burned him, maybe when he was climbing on something. Does it look like that type of rash?
Try to think of everything he did. Maybe something simple will come to mind that explains the rash.
Is it more or less a circular rash? Is it expanding over time? Is it warm and raised? Is it a uniform red color all over?
Could it be poison ivy? (strange place to be touched by the plant, but depending on whether his shirt had sleeves or not, it is a possibility.)
