Is anyone else having this problem? I am currently on clarithromycin and olive leaf.
Periodically (more often as time goes on) I get this severe pins and needles tingling in my arms, hand, legs and torso. It is completely bilateral.
Also when this happens, I have some serious peptic ulcer-like symptoms. I feel so toxic. I get myalgias (back mostly) and a squeezing pressure in my upper back and diaphram area.
I also feel an arthritis/numbness combo feeling in my hands that comes and goes. All of this happens at the same time. It is all or nothing. I don't ever feel 100%, but have periods where I feel 75%.
When these episodes hit, I feel at 50% at best.
I have been on treatment for 23 months - and have moved from biaxin to zith and had stints of mino and doxy.
Is this herxing? Could this numbness be from yeast? I am on Dr. Ohira's probiotics too (brand name not LLMD name). I also have severe lumbar spinal stenosis. This would explain symptoms below the belt, but could this be causing symptoms over whole body due to spinal pressure increase?
Any help or similar experiences would be helpful. I have been a doubting Thomas when it comes to Lyme, but it really is the only thing that makes sense so I stay on the treatment.

Oh - I had a spectra-cell test (cellular level vitamin test (WBC) and it showed a B12 deficiency.
I am now taking B12 shots - just started them 3 days ago. If this is a contributing factor, how long would it take for the B12 to help? Anyone else find tingling/numbness relief from B12 injections or oral supplementation?
