I am going to an osteopath, a very "alternative"

doc. I have been having neuro issues for 6 years

now. He is testing my for Chronic Lyme and my

test was sent to I genix Tues.

If he had enough sense to get me set up with the

test, will he have enough sense to treat me. I

mean should I go get a LLMD?

He told me out of all his patients having been

diagnosed with MS they all tested positive for

Lyme.

I am hoping he can help me.

hi sw,

to get more readers, we need to be very SPECIFIC in subject titles to get their attention as this board is SO BUSY; we can not read them all ok.

use pencil, 3rd box to right of your name and change your subject to something like this:

newbie; osteopath ordered igenex test; can he treat me or do i need llmd?

now you'll get folks attention and they will tell you NEED A LLMD; this is a very COMPLICATED disease and so are the co-infections, other diseases the ticks can have!

post in SEEKING DR. area; okla. has NONE!

s. missouri is your closest area. long waiting list there.

Only if he/she has lots of Lyme patients/experience is it worth seeing them IMO. Knowing/suspecting is one thing. Treating Lyme/co-infections accurately, aggressively, and intelligently is quite another. Your LIFE is on the line. Make sure you have the best.

I am seeing a DO. She is the first person to really ask any of the right questions. I love Osteoapathy. I live with chronic pain that has been helped by it.

You can get helped by a good DO. Mine has some limitations but she does not over charge for treating me. I can afford , she cares, and she listens.

She will do the tests I want or need and will treat me as agressively or holisticaly as I see fit. I am grateful for that so see what this person has to offer ...it maybe a good fit.
