How are you doing Laura? Is your hernia bothering you more now? Oh, I hope not!
I have a hernia also so i'd like to hear how others have done with the surgery. I hope to avoid surgery altogether but it would be good to know what to expect if things did progress to that stage.

I had an Inguinal hernia about 15 years ago when my children were very young.
No problems at all, recovered quickly and it has been good ever since.
The operation was along time before any lyme problems, I don't know if that can effect anything.
I couldn't have left mine any longer, it strangulated & I ended up in an ambulance & taken to an emergency ward. Worst pain i've ever had, although I have heard some people can live with a hernia for many years without it causing them too many problems.
