I have been having tremors since at least November 2008 (when I truly noticed them) and my doctor keeps saying it is anxiety related. I accepted her diagnosis but it is ruining my life. Is it possible that this could be from a tick borne illness? Thank you.

It very well could be.
When you say your doctor, do you just mean your regular doctor, or are you talking about a LLMD?
A LLMD wouldn't be so quick to discount something as anxiety without having done testing. Regular docs are often quick to discount a lot of things as anxiety-related.
If you don't have a LLMD, I would go over to Seeking a Doctor and post your info. Someone should be able to refer you to a doctor close to you.

I too have those internal tremors you are experiencing, they come and go and sometimes really make me feel sicker.
I have posted about them asking for ideas, but mostly supplements have helped me along with small dose Xanax.
It is from Lyme for me never had it before and it was one of my first symptoms.
Probably doesn't help you much but maybe other will chime in on what has helped them.
I have heard extra Magnesium, vitamiin B12, and other calming supplements.
See what other post, I'll keep watch of this post also.
I know it can be miserable but hopefully you have a LLMD you can see regarding this for suggetions.

People with Lyme can get misdiagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. So, tremors definitely can be a symptom of Lyme.
I started having tremors off and on, when under stress and I myself, thought it was from the stress!
It wasn't until five years later when I was diagnosed with Lyme that I made the connection.

WHY does he attribute the tremors to anxiety? What is the basis for that diagnosis?
Do they go away with anti-anxiety drugs?
TBDs can definitely cause tremors, but do you have other reasons to suspect other than just tremors?

There is a long list of symptoms posted in thread. Most of us are suffering low body temp. Low vitamin D, intolerance to cold come to mind quick. You can look those up and see how many you have. If it is early disease dizzyness is a early one as well as late.

I actually never had them and then after being hospitalized for 4 days at Brigham and Womens as I was walking out of the hospital they started out of nowhere! I had been in bed sleeping for the whole 4 days. They treated me horribly said I was depressed and wanted to do an LP when I declined they sent me home. The tremors scared me but I wasn't about to turn around and go back. They got better with treatment.
