hi diana [Smile]

how about adding it was positive and was your pcr positive too on subject line?

just click the pencil to right of your name, and i bet you get more readers and replies AFTER this beautiful labor day weekend holiday.

Dian,

If you have a positive PCR there is no disputing it, as it means that the DNA of the spirochete was found in your blood. I'm assuming it was a PCR of your blood as opposed to urine but you did not specify that.

Yes, they are hard to come by but congrats to you because this kind of positive test cannot be disputed. It's not an antibody test.

Dian - congrats! You now have proof positive and no disputing it.

Makes it all more clear cut for you, no second-guessing yourself or your treatment as many do at some point or another.

I, too, was diagnosed by positive PCR.

Now take a deep breath and plan your method of attack, knowing that you know the source of your troubles and will overcome!

I had a positive pcr as did my husband. For him it was on the first test. I was tested a few times and had a couple of positives. It did make my neurologist (not lyme literate) do an about face on his diagnosis of me.

I was positive on a PCR (Blood) the first time, also.

I was positive on a blood serum PCR as well as a urine LUAT.
