I was diagnosed early. Was on ABX within 9 weeks of my flu like symptoms. My symptoms went away
pretty quickly, no real herx etc. Been on ABX for 5 months.
Occasionally, I may have a sore knuckle here and there but event that has subsided. The only
symptom I have remaining is my left eye "bugs" me. It is a little light sensitive in the day and
bright lights have a starburst effect out of it at night. This started 5 weeks after my first
symptoms and has never worstened but has not
improved either.
I know in light of what many of you endure this is petty. But I was just wondering if anyone had any wisdom.
I am pretty certain it is Lyme related but am beginning to wonder since it seem to stay so persistently. I want to get off ABX ASAP but don't want to jump the gun.
Any recommendations for eye treatments that you have found helpful. I would like that info to rum past my LLMD
Thanks in advance!

Hi Cheri,
I would say make sure you cover Bartonella (a co-infection) as it loves the eyes.
Wow you are lucky to find someone to treat you in Ohio. As far as I knew there were no LLMD's here. (see we are from the same state)

I am being treated in PA. I drive up once a month.
How is Bartonella treated differently than plain ol' Lyme?
