I've had occasional swollen lymph nodes on and off antibiotic treatment. Bartonella is my biggest problem too.
Mine would never last more than a few days...hope this is the case for you too.

Swollen lymph nodes was a biggie for me also. I tested neg. for Bart but LLMD still thinks I have it. Mine has gotten better with abx.

There is a medication called lymphomyosot. I have not used it, makes me extreme tired. and I think red root extract might help with lymph flow. I have that pain at the moment myself, was using magnesium oil in this area, I think the toxin is coming out. Have bart.

I'm on Zith and Mepron for 2 weeks now. My throat is becoming increasingly painful(like a sharp pain in the back of my throat).
Also, my neck feels strained and soar. Is this lymph symptoms? Is this common? This is my 4th day with this and it's getting increasingly worse.
Anyone else experience this?? Thanks!!

rifampin made my lumps go away in 3 months. but two months after stopping it they started to come back. they are not as bad as they were-but i'm pretty sure it is bart and sure i need to stay on rifampin longer
i had achilles problems with cipro-only 10 days of it-so i won't be doing levaquin

I forgot to also say... my aunt once made me a charcoal pack and moist heat over it off and on all day for a swollen, painful lymph node. It helped a lot!

I have painful lymph nodes very frequently under my left armpit.
I found it very helpful to see a massage therapist for lymphatic drainage. If you can find a specialist in your area, I recommend it.
It gets the lymph moving out of the area, and makes the area less swollen and tender.
I know this doesn't address the root cause, but it does help to make you feel better!
