Has anyone every had pain in the kidney area only up higher that increases with activity?

I have had this for a while I was thinking it was adrenal related, but regular testing seems ok, may need to dig deeper. But it seems to be up higher than that area but in the upper back below shoulderblades on each side, more towards the side though.

I have had this check out but big surprise, they don't know what it could be. All my blood test are normal ranges. MD told me no pain from adreanal fatigue but I dont' know if it is in this area.

I did a little too much activity yesterday, well alot, went to the grocery store for the first time since June. By the time I got home I was so wiped out it was like I hit a brick wall and was stunned. Couldn't move for most of the evening. Feel better today but still have that pain in the upper kidney adrenal area?

Just wondering if anyone has every had this and had someone tell them or had a test that told them what it was.

Any ideas? It seems like we all have some sort of the same symptoms just wondering if this is something I share with anyone...

Thanks for input or ideas.

Cindy

adrenal pain will be at the kidney area ...but upper back below shoulder blades area sounds muscular in nature.

there are muscles that run under scapula that can get "knots" - i have had that to where massage therapist has actually moved my arm in way to be able to get under shoulder blade to work it out ! sore!!!!

if ardenal would feel more like a bruise on each side, just below waist level...if you could take your hands and place them on your back with thumbs at spine and and hands in "v" type position at the base of spine...adrenal would be at above line of index/second finger....maybe that makes more sense in my head.

try salt bath, massage or acupunture for muscle pain...or even hot tub??

oh, lost a thought trying to map out the location you are having pain

if adrenal pain increases with caffeine - i have no experience with increasing with activity...that i just dont know....but muscular pain will go up wiht activity

Thanks for help,

It's definitely not in or near the shoulder blade area, much lower. If I have my hands at my navel around my waist with thumbs in back it is up about 3 inches from the waist area but more to the side's of the back. (probably about 6 inches below the shoulder blade...what is in that area?

I hate to go to my Dr. again...but I think I should keep pushing for further testing or an answer. Had normal cortisol reaction test, maybe I need to go get x-ray or ?

Doesn't feel muscular, sitting on hard surface for too long causes pain in that area also. But it seems like when I run out of energy that is when it is worse. Have been laying around the house for past 2-3 months not doing much and it hadn't really bothered me. But beginning to feel a little bettr with treatment and dying to get out of the house, so yesterday just walking and burning the energy I had seemed to cause this reaction.

I hope that makes sense...

Does it sound like adrenal fatigue, kidney, ??? I just like to take ideas to my Dr. she really listens but I see her so much...

My LLMD Dr. is in process of moving and a phone consults is hefty charge, so that would be my last choice...

Thanks MY3BOYS

Could the nurse help at the LLMDs for a 'less hefty charge'? [Smile]

Possibly, I need to find out what the cause is, possibly some thing adrenals or other glands its just weird, due to just getting worn out causing this or sitting on hard floor. I can feel it when I breath sometimes...

I may try the nurse, but I will need to wait till Monday for the LLMD. Its getting better and as with all symptoms, when they are not as present they are forgotten until it comes back.

Thank you for the advice. I will bring up in my next session with LLMD or nurse...
