my doctor is changing me to cowden protocol. he gave me a sheet of paper with herbs i have to take.
i have the liquid samento but i don't have the cumanda, parsley and burbur. he also recommended juice plus and lipolic acid.
i can't find them at iherb or susan ambrosino.
where do you find these at a pretty good cost?
i'd like to start pdq.

Randibear, i've heard of Juice Plus it is a whole food multivitamin sold through multilevel marketing. A friend of mine used to sell it.
If you want a good food based multivitamin I would recommend the Rainbow Light brand. I take their "Just Once" multivitamin. You can order it through iherb. Good quality, at a price that I can afford.
Another good multivitamin is Right Foods brand "Complete Life" multivitamins. They are more expensive, sold through health care professionals. You can order it at http://organicpharmacy.org/index.php
For the other supplement did the doctor mean ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid)? That is a pretty common supplement that you should be able to find on iherb. Maybe you should double check with your doc on that.

For the tinctures, Nutramedix has all of the herbs you mentioned:
i'm excited to get started. i've been doing meds since 2006 and am burned out, plus he thinks i'm doing well enough to go off them. YA-HOOO.....no more trips to the pharmacy at least once a week!! i swear between hormones, bp meds, and all, they knew me on a first name basis.
i hope the modified cowden works alright.
now if i can just get all these times down. well at least it's just small bottles i have to mess with.

Randibear- I have been on the condensed Cowden Protocol for 80 days now. I have seen improvement, but you really have to follow the program. Two of us in my family are on it. The full program takes like seven months, but I will do anything to get my life back! I have lost all numbing in my limbs and those horrible shooting pains that I used to have. I found a support group where most of the group uses it and the stories of how well it works are incredible.
Stick with it and know that you are not alone! Posted by brf (Member # 8748) on :
Hi,
Can you post a link to the Cowden support group?
Thanks

brf- The support group that I belong to is a group of people in my area. It is not online. Sorry! I wish there was a support group for Cowden users. I often have questions and I'd sometimes like a bigger pool of answers. I can't help but wonder how many folks on here use it. PB

Many here have said they didn't find it too useful and it's expensive.
