Have an odd, maybe stupid question regarding the herxheimer reaction. [Razz]

I have since started treatment for Lyme and Rickettsia in January experienced what likely is a herxheimers reaction every 5th week with fever, headache, increase in all symptoms. Always every 5th week.

This month I stopped abx for 5 days due to the opening of a theatre-play I'm starring in (needed to be as fit as I could get).

But following the every 5th week-schedule, the herx should had come about a week ago. I got the fever tonight.

Can the 5 day stop of abx postpone the herx??

I would think it would throw things off. Glad you are having a positive response to the treatment!

There is no set schedule for herxing! It can happen at random, depends on your body.
