Anyone else have this? Did your doctor explain it to you?
Thank you, Feelfit

I always have insanely high eosinophils, feelfit (something else we have in common?).
My doctor explained that it could mean a few different things, but most likely a heavy parasitic infection or an allergic reaction to something in your environment or that you've eaten.

Thanks (LL). How have you been feeling?

I had high levels for yrs. I agree with LL, it can definitely be from heavy parasitic infection. Not ONE doctor that i saw picked up on this.
FF,
Have you attempted doing any antiparasitics?

I have it in cycles depending on when I've treated for parasites. It went down to normal after I was on a hefty prescription anti-parasitic treatment but within a few months it was back up there along with colon inflammation.
Now we cycle parasitic treatment and that seems to work well at keeping it down. I plan to go on humaworm as soon as we de-mold our house.
If you have pets, be sure to treat them at the same time as you treat yourself. I plan to treat the whole family at the same time with humaworm.
We're having lots of fun in this house!!
I also have allergies. What lyme patient doesn't except those who are newly infected? I did think it might be the allergies but when it started to cycle with the parasitic treatment I knew it had to be parasites.
Some of the methylation cycle blocks will make getting rid of parasites harder because the infections tend to be worse.

Ok, what do we use for parasitic infections? I have not tried Humaworm yet....what are the rx choices?
They have a ton of info and forums on different parasite protocols. Whatever you decide it has to be persistent over many months/yrs.
There are prescription antiparasitics like ivermectin, albendazole, but not all the prescription meds kill the adults and larva and eggs. Allergys are also a parasite symptom.
Also check out Hulda Clark and Humaworm. You can also do a search on here for parasites and lyme,

Yep, I have this too Feelfit. Docs say allergies..nothing more. They laugh about parasites.

My doctors decided to start with Ivermectin for my parasitic infections. It's relatively mild, not many side effects at all.
Posted by feelfit (Member # 12770) on :
That is what Dr.K at Clongen labs suggested as well, Ivermectin. He also said little side effects.
How are you doing on it? Or have you started yet?
I remember Micul posted his pictures on here and said that he used Ivermectin and succeeded in killing the organism.

I'm delighted to report that Ivermectin has been the ONLY drug that I've ever been able to take full term. I finished the whole prescription. I was so proud! My track record is usually 10 days before I end up in the ER. Just last month I finished a whole month's worth of Ivermectin.
I'm not sure if it helped any of my symptoms, but in recent blood work my eosinophils were normal!

I tried Ivermectin but it didn't do anything for me. I tried biltricide and it just about killed me. I was sooooo sick on it. About the sickest I've ever been.
Albenza has been the best treatment for me so far. I did a LOT of cleanses with Hulda Clark's recommendations and that didn't help much with parasites but helped with other things.
I think opening the methylation cycle for those of us who have certain mutations can be very helpful in getting rid of parasites.
Terry I'm not a doctor

And then there is salt/c which I have had great success with along with antiparasitic herbs.

I have high EOS, but none of my dr's say anything about it.

Some abx & other meds can cause this, such as Minocycline.
I took Mino @ 200 mg/day for 1 month & ended up in the ER with a serious allergic reaction. Hate that med...

Hi eosinophils can also be related to a condition called KPU, which may be present in up to 80% of people with chronic Lyme. Parasites and allergies are what people think of, but look into KPU as well.

Is coconut oil beneficial for parasite and yeast problems?
Posted by glm1111 (Member # 16556) on :
Coconut oil is a very good antifungal and antioparasitic. However you would need other antiparasitics such as herbs or salt/c to be effective. It is a very good protocol and I do a lot of coconut oil.
