Why is this ? Others touch my head and say I don't feel warm.

Just thought I'd throw this out there as I'm sure I'm not alone.

I thought I had a fever yesterday. Took temp and was suprised It was 97.6. But I feel a little better so I don't know. Maybe a phase I'm going tru? A weather phenomena? Its been raining here for 3 days.

I go through this constantly, and I never know what to make of it either.

Sometimes I even touch my sons' heads and think they're burning up, but they're normal too.

Must be some kind of sensory glitch.

I've had this off and on. Sometimes it feels like a severe hot flash, although I'm only 29.

But it never registers as a fever. One winter I had to sit outside for 30 min. to cool my face down.

My doc said it was the Bartonella infection I have.

Maybe what you had is a fever for you. Not everyone's normal body temp is 98.6. Mine is usually somewhere around 96.8, so even when I have a fever, it isn't high--but I feel like I'm burning up. I just went through this in the last week after taking Doxy for several weeks and then going off it. I felt really feverish (actually registered one), and had that goofy feeling, and glassy eyes. Now I seem to be alternating back and forth between hot and cold. I know it isn't the flu--no other symptoms, and I'm past menopause. I just took some tylenol. Good luck!
