I cannot find anything on this at all and want to start my daughter on the protocol- however she takes an antidepressant. Is that going to interfere with the protocol or will the protocol interfere with the med?? Can't find a thing on it- anybody here know?? Thanks!

I took modified Cowden with my other meds. I was not on an antidepressant.

I used regular cowden and condensed cowden for several months. I take alot of perscription drugs (including antidepressants). Everything was fine.

In Connie's new book, Dr C claims a high success rate for his Condensed Cowden protocol.

What was the experience of those of you who have tried it?

ukcarry-
I have been on Cowden condensed for three

months. I take it EXACTLY like his protocol

states. I see major imporvements. My teen is on

it and she is making great strides. She had

lost her hearing and it returned after one month

on it.She is taking it as strictly as I am.

I had two numb legs and one numb arm. Within the

first month that was gone and I was able to

walk again. My neuro symptoms are taking longer

to resolve, but I am not surprised at

that.Still, those have improved.

There is a group

in my area where we are all lymies. Many of the

people in the group have had great results with

Cowden. The ones who haven't had good results

seem to be the ones who deviate from the plan.I

believe you must do the program like he says.It

is expensive, but I am very pleased with it.

PB4, thank you for responding.

I am very pleased for you that you and your daughter are seeing such encouraging improvements. Have you been ill a long time?

Could you say a bit more about how some people deviated from the plan? Do you mean that they left out some of the herbs, took different dosages or were you referrring to things he suggests like skin brushing?

Again, best of luck for your continued improvements,

Carry

ukcarry-
Some of the people I have heard who did not

follow the protocol left out herbs or only took

one of the anti microbials. I have followed the

exact recommendations for detox herbs and the

antimicrobials. The protocl also includes

magnesium and serrapeptase. There is a detox for

mercury too. There are also recommendations for

eliminating allergens from the diet. I know in

the "Health Report" Newsletter there are many

other things advised to speed or assist the

recovery. There has been alot to pay attention

to in this program, but I think it is worthwhile.

You asked how long we'd had it.

I had a bulls eye last year and did abx. I still

remained exhausted and a bit achy, but was told

the abx was sufficient.(I've learned sooooo

much!) I was bit again spring 09 (at least 30

times). I became very symptomatic in May. I did

abx and they did not work.

My daughter has probably had it longer, but we

credited certain heath problems to other things.

I would recommend Cowden to anyone.
