The book Cause Unknown gives two notable examples of a lyme cure by way of several rounds of high dose oral ceftin.

Does anyone know the daily dosage on this?

Thanks.

2,000 - 3,000 mg daily. Most LLMDs only want to Rx 1,000 mg a day.

For adults, recommended dosage for treating lyme is 1 g, 2 times a day. I have know 2 poeple who took more, one took 1.5 g 2x a day, and the other took 2.0g 2 x a day. Supposidly, there are poeple who have taken higher than this for short peiods of time.

But I think most ILADS are 1 g, 2 x a day

I'm currently on 1000 mg per day. Not noticing much improvement so we're swithing around my meds and I'm gonna start pulsing.

Not sure what they mean exactly, but when I took 3,000 mg Ceftin along with 2,000 mg Biaxin plus Bicillin and FLagyl it was awesome!

I had a strong herx yes, and it also made many of my long term symptoms go away for good. Not Ceftin alone, but the 4 med combination. [Smile] Awesome means it got me better! [Wink]
