Hi everyone,

I am seeing Dr. F this week and am going to do as much testing as I can to figure out if I have lyme disease and/or any of the co-infections. Any advice for me? How reliable is his testing in your opinion?

Thanks so much!!
Sherrie

Based on what I read, he always finds something on blood smears, but seems to never be able to deinitely diagnose it.

He can do a full panel of all co infections and for lyme and those are seperate from his tests that he does that are smears.

So I would ask for the full co infection and vector borne disease panel he has. That will include Lyme but makes sure you ask for it. He has a list on his website of all the tests.

I have done his tests and then did Igenex and it came out very close to the same.

I had one extra positive on Igenex but the rest were the same..

He will then do his testing for the bacterial infection and the biofilm and protozoan infection he has been studying.

Not everyone has what he sees but most people with Lyme do. And he will show you how it looks by giving you photos of your smear tests.

The other tests will come back the same way others to showing titers or positive negatives of each one..

He can provided you will all the testing you need that is vector borne..

If you have other concerns about viruses or fungal infections etc.. You have to ask him and see if he feels a need to run those tests..

Good Luck.
He is a good doctor and he cares a lot about trying to help people.

His office is not set up to do any IV treatments if that might be something your interested in. Just so you know ..

He uses all orals and very little in the way of alternative or supplements but will make his basice suggestions that he believes are important and leaves it up to you do follow through..

He will ask you to do Vitamin D3 but usually checks your levels first and then tell you how much to take ..

Thats all I can think of for now..

I hope I helped.

Good luck with your appt.

hi

I think each one is a little differenet and depends on how many tests you end up asking for.

I would say between two weeks to four weeks max..?
