I'm curious to hear from lymenet members what antimicrobials (preferably natural) you've taken that has been most effective for you. What do (or did) you use and how has it been most helpful to you?

Please share your experiences with them too, such as, side effects, herxes, etc. Also, please give the brand names of the products and if possible a link to it as well.

By the way, I'm thinking about getting some Kirkman's Biofilm Defense tablets to take with my antimicrobials.

This looks pretty promising. Anyone using this now or have comments about it?

I liked the Buhner protocol. Andrographis, Source Naturals Resveratrol, Nutramedix Banderol, and Nutramedix Samento. It seemed to be strong enough to work on the Lyme but not the coinfections.

Currently I'm in remission (but that's a whole 'nother story!) so I don't currently take any animicrobials.

I had some success with Samento (Cat's Claw) before getting on antibiotics.

Thanks for sharing that. What did you use to treat your coinfections?

On the Cowden Protocol I have done very well

with Samento and Enula. You can read about the

different herbal antimicrobials on the

Nutramedix site. The antimicrobials have

different things they kill and the Cowden

program rotates them so you can get to co-

infections too.

Kirkman have a good reputation, but I would like to see some scientific reasoning/testing/evidence as to the efficacy of this product since work on
biofilms is relatively recent.

Gary, if you try it,do please let us know what you think,

Carry
