First of all are these solidified lumpy nodules going to go away? they seem so rock solid that they will be there forever? what are they - are they my lymph nodes just quitting on me and staying swollen or some other mass completely all together? (they seem to be inline with where my nodes would be). finally is this a lyme/bart or babs thing? any remedies?

Sorry... this is hard to help with because the history provided is sparse and there are too many variables.

Any unexplained lumps and bumps should be checked out by a health care professional.

Believe me, if I could answer this accurately I would.

Sorry!

I'm not going to say what your lumps might be, but I have a friend who described her body like that, took a ton of bromelain and said her lumps went away after a while.

I have 2 along my right jaw line. My sister told me that she has 2 in the same place as mine. I agree - go to the doctor and have them checked. It could be several things some of which might need treatment right away.

I've had mine for about 2 years. I've been to a specialist for them and apparently mine are probably calcium deposits in my salivary gland duct. The doctor was not concerned. I've been upset about that because they hurt and sometimes they get infected and my whole neck swells up. I've been told if they become too much of a problem, they can be surgically removed.

My regular doctor diagnosed the same thing before she sent me to a specialist. She said to suck on hard sour candy to see if I could dislodge the stone. Didn't work.

They used to be quite large and seemed to cause the muscle behind them to hurt but they are a little better now.

I've been rubbing limonene (orange essential oil) on my neck a few times a day and that helps keep them small. If I don't do it for a few days they start to get bigger.

I'm considering looking for something that can help disolve calcium deposits but haven't done that yet.

Good luck,
Terry
