I read that aloe vera is a detoxicant that helps

the body rid itself of poisons. It also has 6

antiseptic agents and 3 anti-inflammatory fatty

acids that researchers have found in the plant.

Has any one tried the Aloe Vera capsuls? If so did you herx

Can you take with antibiotics

Catherines Choice guarntees 100% pure natural, organic

Aloe Vera and also says it can enhance absorption

making vitamins and other nutrients more effective

Any input on this ?

1/4 cup every day. Also helps "heal" the gut. George's brand (liquid) from Henry's is also good.

I drink 2oz three times daily. Great tasting plain or mixed in fruit juice. I wasn't a believer at first. But after two weeks of drinking this stuff, my pain and crunchy creaky neck symptoms have gone down to 1 or 2, 1-10 scale. For two years the pain was around an 8. So I'm plesantly suprised.

Great tasting? No way! I absolutely can't stand the taste! I have to hold my nose while drinking it. If I mix it with other juices, it almost taste even worse. Maybe my brand just taste different. (Fruit of the Earth)

But it has really helped me to really clear out my bowels, if you know what I mean. Though I have since moved on to some really good probiotics so I don't need to drink it anymore.

I have read it is poorly absorbed by the intestines, just like a laxative, which is all I have noticed it doing for me.
